This facility is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team as they go through a significant quality transition. This individual will support operations technically in order to raise customer satisfaction and boost the company’s performance in quality-related areas.
This role will also provide support for quality related root cause analysis, customer complaint communications, non-conforming product dispositioning, and technical continuous improvement programs. In addition, the quality engineer will use data analysis, technical knowledge, and a strong quality mindset to support the product quality and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Applied knowledge and experience working with Quality Management System requirements such as ISO 9001:2015.
• Experience interfacing with Customers and Suppliers on quality and technical issues.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and developing effective corrective/preventative actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Statistical Analysis software (MiniTab or JMP preferred).
• Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft programs (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrated proficiency conducting Measurement System Analysis.
• Delivers clear verbal and written message to both a diverse audience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is desired.
