Responsibilities
- The developer will be responsible for developing sophisticated reports and visualizations within the Cogito suite of tools in reporting
- This includes the ability to create Reporting Workbench reports, Radar Dashboards, SQL extracts and SlicerDicer queries in Epic
- It is imperative for the developer to understand key building blocks of a report writer including building out rules and properties, using the build wizard, running back fills, understanding registries, metrics etc
- As AI is shifting to a more predominant role in healthcare it would be a bonus if this person was familiar with predictive analytic and Generative AI in the Epic space
- Mentor other junior Epic developers in their SQL skill set as well as Reporting tools
- Data Solution Development:
- Work within a service delivery team to create reports and visualizations depending on the request
- Understand the problem the business is facing and come up with a solution to the problem using data and analytics
- Work on any tasks pertaining to Nova Notes/upgrades
- Follow data governance practices and standards to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the Epic EMR system
- Implement data quality controls and validation processes to ensure the reliability and usability of data solutions
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and executives, to understand their data needs and provide guidance on data solution development
