Responsibilities
- Enter, examine, and handle payroll for both non-union and union workers.
- Send in your weekly ACH file for direct employee deposits.
- In order to get ready for weekly payroll payments, run weekly payroll reports:
- Compile and submit each week’s paycheck withholdings and deductions.
- Compile all required payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Keep up with all relevant personnel records and information.
- Ensure that all pay rates and deductions are up to date and accurate.
- Examine and settle any disparities in payroll computations to guarantee employee justice and accuracy.
- Compile all monthly union reports and submit them.
- Send AP the monthly benefit payment amounts so they can be paid.
- When necessary, reconcile disparities in union reporting and benefit payments.
- Oversee all Union Audit staff members.
- Maintain all union fringe/deduction information and make sure all union prevailing wage rates are correct. Address any anomalies in payroll as needed.
- Quickly resolve any disagreements or difficulties pertaining to payroll.

What you’ll do:
• Input, check, and handle payroll for both non-union and union workers.
• Send in the weekly ACH file for direct employee deposits.
• Prepare weekly payroll payments by running weekly payroll reports:
• Compile and submit each week’s payroll withholdings and deductions.
• Compile all required payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Preserve any relevant personnel records and data.
• Ensure that all employees’ pay rates and deductions are current and accurate.
• Maintain all union fringe/deduction information and make sure all union prevailing wage rates are correct.
• When necessary, settle paycheck disparities.
• Quickly and effectively handle any problems or disagreements pertaining to payroll, looking for solutions that comply with relevant laws.
Examine and settle any disparities in payroll computations to guarantee correctness and equity for workers.
• Compile and send in each monthly report to the union.
· Send AP the monthly benefit payment amounts so they can be paid.
• Address disparities in benefit payments and union reporting as appropriate.
• Oversee every union audit.
What you will provide is
• Over five years of union payroll experience.
• Payroll processing for over five years.
• Outstanding organizational, time-management, and project-management abilities.
• Contact with the building sector
• Expertise in Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
