Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for handling calls, emails, and other requests from patients and healthcare providers, ensuring excellent service and meeting service level goals

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Description

We are looking for a committed Customer Service Representative to become part of our expanding organization. In this role, you will manage calls, emails, and various inquiries from patients and healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service while achieving service level objectives. This position provides avenues for advancement and the possibility of permanent employment contingent upon performance.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to calls, emails, and other inquiries from patients and healthcare providers, consistently meeting or surpassing service level targets.
  • Manage 65 incoming calls and 75 outbound calls during each shift.
  • Accurately document information and update systems as required.
  • Offer availability, tracking, and shipping details for patients’ medications when necessary.
  • Support both new and returning patients with their service application processes.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in handling high call volumes.
  • Possession of a KY pharmacy license prior to commencement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in pharmacy, managed care, Medicaid and/or Medicare organizations, pharmaceutical and/or biotech manufacturing, insurance, medical office, or a related field.

Work Environment

Available shifts include: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. This position is desk-based within a closed-door pharmacy, primarily involving communication with patients and providers via phone. Calls are automatically connected, resulting in continuous phone engagement. A three-week in-person training session will be conducted from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The dress code is business casual during training, transitioning to more relaxed attire thereafter.
