Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for managing and supporting the design and implementation of SCADA systems and networks for renewable energy power generation plants
  • The Senior Automation Engineer is responsible for SCADA engineering designs, SCADA engineering estimates, communication network architecture, and relevant drawings development
  • This includes designing and implementing SCADA and telemetry networks, support with implementation and testing relating to Substation energization, back feed, and performance testing (including NERC compliance), and overall support of the SCADA system commissioning for the facility as a complete and operational renewable power plant, either via internal or external resources

Pay range: $115,000 to $130,000 annually

In the field of renewable energy (solar), we are leaders. To add to our expanding team, we are looking for a Senior SCADA Engineer. We would want to talk with you if you have direct SCADA/Controls experience in the renewable energy sector.

This is a 10% travel opportunity that is remote.

Synopsis:

The management and assistance of SCADA system and network design and implementation for renewable energy power generation plants falls under the purview of the Senior Automation Engineer. The Senior Automation Engineer is in charge of communication network architecture, SCADA engineering estimations, and the creation of pertinent drawings. Using internal or external resources, this entails designing and implementing SCADA and telemetry networks, providing support for backfeed, performance testing (including NERC compliance), and substation energization and testing, as well as overall SCADA system commissioning support for the facility as a fully functional renewable power plant.
