Responsibilities
Through constantly excellent planning, attitude, and cooperation, the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Pre-Owned Sales Consultant must deliver a consistently exceptional brand and customer experience.
Answer questions from clients about leasing or buying new or used Mercedes-Benz cars.
Preserve client happiness by communicating in writing for prompt transactions and verifying orders with clients.
Help clients with all facets of car ownership, such as making service appointments, helping with lease expirations, serving as a contact for Collision Centre questions, resolving DMV concerns, obtaining any and all missing financing documentation, and providing Sales Managers with up-to-date order status information.
Determine the customer’s lease and purchase alternatives and provide an appropriate quote.

The role of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Pre-Owned Sales Consultant is to deliver exceptional customer service while facilitating the sale of pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
The Pre-Owned Sales Consultant at Mercedes-Benz Manhattan is expected to ensure a consistently excellent brand and customer experience through diligent preparation, a positive attitude, and effective teamwork.
Responsibilities include:
- Addressing customer inquiries related to the leasing or purchasing of new and pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by confirming orders and providing timely written communications.
- Assisting customers with all facets of vehicle ownership, which encompasses scheduling service appointments, managing lease expirations, serving as a liaison for Collision Center inquiries, following up on DMV matters, obtaining necessary documentation for financing, and providing Sales Managers with precise order updates.
- Calculating lease and purchase options for customers and providing accurate payment quotes.
- Following up with customers to secure referrals and encourage repeat business.
- Meeting or exceeding the vehicle sales/lease targets set by MBM’s annual minimum standards.
- Keeping customer information current in company databases.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Being able to commute to and from Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.
The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $180,000.
Qualifications required:
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Pre-Owned Sales.
- A valid Driver’s License.
